The Counseling and Career Development Center (CCDC) provides educational, career and human development services at no cost to students. Counselors work with currently enrolled students to help them establish educational goals, develop a career direction, and make personal adjustments to get the most from their college experience.

It is our goal to prepare students for learning and personal success. We have crafted a welcoming and learning-centered environment, to assist you to live and learn in a diverse world and enhance life skills that foster responsible choices and get you engaged in the world. We offer several types of counseling for students: Career Counseling, Educational Counseling, and Personal Counseling.

Counselors are available Monday - Tuesday from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., Wednesday - Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Friday from 8:30 a.m. to Noon.

In the case of an on-campus emergency, the Moraine Valley Police can be reached by calling (708)-974-5555.

For 24/7 crisis intervention for suicide, depression and general concerns, please call 800-273-8255 or 988, text 741741, or call the Hopeline at 800-784-2433 (800-SUICIDE).

Students also may visit the college's ULifeline, an online mental health resource for students, to seek information for themselves or friends, or get immediate help.
