The Fine and Performing Arts Center at Moraine Valley Community College is located off of 111th Street and College Parkway. When entering off of 111th Street, the Fine and Performing Arts Center is straight ahead and then to the right of the circle drive. Parking is complimentary, and handicap parking is available.

Accessibility

The entrance into the Fine and Performing Art Center is at ground level and easily accessible. Orchestra-level seating for the Dorothy Menker Theater can be accessed by a ramp located near the main (south) entrance of the building. Balcony seating can be accessed using the Atrium stairs or the elevator located in the hallway near the Box Office. The John and Angeline Oremus Theater is at ground level and easily wheelchair/walker accessible.

Limited wheelchair seating is available in both the Dorothy Menker and the John and An

gelina Oremus theaters. If wheelchair seating is not required, but seating that does not require the use of stairs is preferred, contact the Box Office. If you are a guest who will be bringing a service animal, we strongly recommend contacting the Box Office at (708) 974-5500 or boxoffice@morainevalley.edu.

Listening Devices/ASL Interpreter — Wireless listening devices are available at no charge from the Box Office. Patrons must leave a driver’s license or major credit card to use the headset.

If an ASL sign language interpreter is needed, please contact the Box Office. Our Box Office staff then will assign you appropriate seating and arrange for an interpreter. We ask that patrons in need of an ASL interpreter contact the Box Office as early as possible.

Box Office
Currently, the Box Office is closed. The Box Office can be reached by phone Monday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at (708) 975-5500. You also can boxoffice@morainevalley.edu.

Concessions
The concession stand is located in the main floor near the John and Angeline Oremus Theater. Concessions are sold only for select performances. An additional satellite stand may be set up for select Mainstage performances. Outside food and beverages are not allowed in the building. Generally, with the exception of bottled water, all purchased snacks. Beverages with a lid are allowed in both theater spaces.

Additional Patron Amenities

  • Coat check is seasonal and located on the main floor Atrium, near the Box Office.
  • Will call is for ticket pickup and is located on the main floor in the Atrium, just past the coat check.
  • There is a gender-neutral restroom located in the northeast corner of the second floor.
  • Patrons will have tickets scanned and will be directed to their seats by a volunteer usher.

Lost and Found
Found articles should be left with the Box Office or the will call window. If valuable items such as keys, wallets or jewelry are found, they will be reported and picked up by the Moraine Valley Police. All other items will be held in the center’s lost and found.
