Moraine Chorale and Chamber Singers

Broadway, Pop, Motion Picture, Spectacular!
Directed by: Nick Thomas
Our 22nd Broadway, Pop, Motion Spectacular will feature the 50 voice Moraine Chorale and 15 voice Moraine Chamber Singers under the direction of Nicholas Thomas, Department Chair of Fine Arts and Humanities.  Beverly Holt and Kiyona Ohshika are the accompanists along with a  seven piece instrumental ensemble. Tune in as our singers performed songs from ‘Ain’t Misbehavin’, “The Sound of Music’, “Phantom of the Opera” and so much more!

The Moraine Valley Community Orchestra celebrates the end of National Dance Week by beginning a year-long celebration of Astor Piazzolla, honoring the 100th anniversary of Piazzolla's birth. This live-stream concert directed by Maestra Flock also includes other dance works by J.S. Bach, the Strauss brothers: Johann Jr. and Josef, and the much-loved Waltz No. 2 by Dmitri Shostakovich. April 25th also marks the beginning of National Immunization Week, and the MVCO brings musical comfort to those recovering from Covid vaccinations or any other immunizations. Experience the MVCO's sweet orchestral sounds and other musical surprises as part of its live-virtual audience
