Spring 2025 Programs – Jan. 27 to May 11


Intro to Dance

 In Intro to Dance classes, students learn the basics of ballet, hip-hop and jazz. Instructors go over basic technique and skills; learning kicks, leaps, jumps and turns. Students also learn a dance to perform for a Spring recital to take place in May 2025. Athletic clothing required. Spring recital costumes will be provided at an additional cost; costume information and ordering will be provided by instructors within the first few weeks of class. Classes held in KidCentral.

  • Spring Session Ballet Dates: Saturdays starting Feb. 1 through May 10 (no class on March 29, April 12 & April 19)
  • Times:  9 a.m. to 9:45 a.m.
  • Ages:  5-11 years old
  • Cost:  $108 for members or $144 for non-members for the entire session
  • Minimums/Maximums:  min. 4/max. 15
  • Spring Session Jazz & Hip-Hop Dates: Saturdays starting Feb. 1 through May 10 (no class on March 29, April 12 & April 19)
  • Times:  10 a.m. to 10:45 a.m.
  • Ages:  7-11 years old
  • Cost:  $108 for members or $144 for non-members for the entire session
  • Minimums/Maximums:  min. 4/max. 15

Speed & Agility

 Boost your child’s athletic performance with our Speed & Agility class held in KidRec’s Sports Zone. Designed for children ages 7-12 years old, this high-energy program focuses on enhancing speed, coordination, balance and overall agility. Through fun drills and dynamic exercises, participants will improve their movement skills, build strength and increase endurance, all while having a blast in a supportive team environment. Whether your child is looking to excel in sports or just stay active, this class provides the perfect foundation for athletic growth. 

  • Spring Session Dates:  Wednesdays starting Jan. 29
  • Times:  5:15-6 p.m. (Ages 7-12)
  • Cost:  $54 for members or $72 for non-members for the entire session
  • Minimums/Maximums:  min. 4/max. 12

Intro to Lifting

 Intro to Lifting educates children who are ready to learn about fitness and excited to be introduced to adult fitness equipment. This is an opportunity for children to learn how to use cardio machines and weight equipment safely and properly before navigating the fitness floor on their own. In addition, this program focuses on teaching children about healthy lifestyle choices that they can implement into their daily routines. Classes open to children ages 8-12 and take place on the FitRec Fitness Floor. 

  • Spring Session Dates:  Saturdays starting Feb. 1
  • Times:  9-10 a.m. (Ages 8-12)
  • Cost:  $72 for members or $90 for non-members for the entire session
  • Minimums/Maximums:  min. 4/max. 12
