School’s Out Camp – Summer 2025
FitRec Kid’s Camp WILL NOT run in its entirety the week of June 30 – July 4 due to the holiday. However, your needs have been heard, and School’s Out Camp will run at limited capacity Monday, June 30 – Wednesday, July 2. Activities will include arts & crafts, recreational games and more. Available on June 30, July 1 and July 2 to children ages 5-12 years old from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Before and after care is NOT included on these days. Registration available as daily option only as of Monday, May 5 and closes on Wednesday, June 25 or when capacity is reached. Capacity is limited to 30 campers.

NEW! Moraine Valley Explorers Camp
Did your child participate in this year’s Spring Break Camp? If so, you may recognize the Moraine Valley Explorers program! FitRec is teaming up again with the Explorers to bring a variety of STEM-based topics, arts & crafts and fitness to young campers. Morning classes will be provided by the Moraine Valley Explorers and afternoon activities will be provided by FitRec. This collaborative camp will give a taste of the youth programs Moraine Valley Community College has to offer. Available to children ages 5-12 years old (must be 5 years old by date of event). This option is available for weekly registration only and includes just Monday – Thursday. Fridays are not included in this registration and must be done separately under “FitRec Kid’s Camp”. Registration opens on Monday, May 5, and closes on the Wednesday before the week begins, or when capacity is reached. Capacity is limited to 20 campers per class.

STEM for ages 8 – 12
This hands‑on class introduces young learners to science, technology, engineering, and math through fun experiments, creative problem‑solving, and interactive projects.
Variety Camp: ELA and Crafts for ages 5 – 7
This fun and creative class introduces kids to painting, drawing, and mixed media projects. Through hands-on activities, they will explore colors, textures, and techniques while developing artistic and language arts skills.
July 21 – 24 | Registration closes: July 16
Arts and Crafts Camp for ages 8 – 12
Young artists will explore various drawing and painting techniques using different materials and styles.
