Spring Break Explorers Camp (STEM + Recreation) – Spring 2026
FitRec and Moraine Valley Explorers are partnering once again to bring children (ages 5-12) an exciting and enriching Spring Break experience. This full-day camp blends STEM-based morning classes—led by the Moraine Valley Explorers team—with energetic and creative afternoon activities provided by FitRec. Campers will explore science, technology, arts & crafts, sports, music, creative writing, fitness, and more, making this the perfect opportunity to learn, move, and have fun over spring break. This collaborative program also introduces young learners to the wide range of youth education and enrichment opportunities available through Moraine Valley Community College. Available to children ages 5-12 years old (must be 5 years old by start of program). Drop-off and pick-up will take place at FitRec each day. Registration available for full week only and closes Wednesday, March 18 or earlier if capacity is reached.
Dates: March 23-27 (Monday thru Friday)
Times: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day; before and after care NOT available
Cost: Members: $200 (weekly rate, must register for full week) Non-Members: $265 (weekly rate, must register for full week)
Capacity: Minimum of 10, maximum of 40
