FitRec is making seasonal adjustments to its operations and services to accommodate upcoming special events and the Memorial Day holiday. Below, you’ll find important dates and times when our facility will modify its operating hours or temporarily limit certain services for general use in May. Please take a moment to review them:
- Thursday, May 8: Facility open 5:30 a.m.-6 p.m. due to FitRec Employee Appreciation Banquet. KidRec will not be open from 5-8 pm that day. Membership Services will close at 5 pm.
- The FitRec women’s general locker room will be closed and unavailable for use starting on Monday, May 12 and Tuesday, May 13 from 10 am – 2:30 pm both days. Campus Operations will be performing maintenance and painting during this timeframe. Members with reserved lockers will need to plan accordingly. The Athletics’ Visitors Women’s Locker Room (H107) will serve as the primary alternate changing location. The Family Changing Room will be available as normal.
- Gym courts closed May 12-20: The gym courts will be closed May 12-20 in preparation for pre- and post-MVCC Graduation ceremonies.
- Friday, May 16: Facility closed all day for Moraine Valley graduation ceremonies.
- Monday, May 26: Facility closed all day for Memorial Day.
