How First Generation Students Benefit From The TRIO-Student Support Service Programs
The goals of the TRIO-SSS program is to provide first-generation students with: Academic tutoring, which includes instruction in reading, writing, study skills, mathematics, science, and other subjects, assistance in post-secondary course selection, assist students with information on locating public and private scholarships, cultural and social activities and assistance in completing the financial aid process.
