Writing doesn’t always come easy, but the Speaking and Writing Center at Moraine Valley is here to help.
Great writers and speakers know that a piece needs to be written and rewritten (maybe several times!) for it to really shine. One of the best ways to make your writing successful is to have someone else read it and provide constructive feedback. The Speaking and Writing Center has trained student and faculty consultants who can read your work and help you discover ways to present your ideas more effectively. They’ll point out your strengths, offer suggestions, and empower you to become a better writer or speaker.
Consultants are available to discuss your projects at any point during the creative process--from rough draft to final copy or performance. And, their specialties go well beyond research papers. We can assist you with speeches, college admission letters, short stories, poems, essays, and more. The center's consultants have an incredible knack for all things words. You might even say they have superpowers!
We are here to assist all Moraine Valley students and community members.
