The Associate in Fine Arts (A.F.A.) degree is designed for students who plan to transfer to a four-year college or university to pursue a bachelor’s degree in art, music or theater. This program provides a strong foundation in the arts while allowing students to build a portfolio or performance experience that reflects their skills, creativity and personal style.
Students gain hands-on experience in studio art, music or theater while developing technical techniques, creative expression and an understanding of artistic concepts and history. The Digital Art and Design A.A.S. degree program prepares students for careers in graphic design and digital media in as little as two years. Students learn how to create visual content using typography, imagery and layout to communicate ideas, build brands and enhance user experiences across print and digital platforms.
