The Marketing and Communications Department provides quality, responsive communications to staff, students, and the community. It ensures Moraine Valley maintains a positive image with its various constituents and communicates messages. Working with local, regional, and national news media, including print and online newspapers, network and cable television stations, radio stations, and specialized publications such as magazines and newsletters, staff promotes the college and its many programs and services.

The department also is responsible for Valley View, the twice-monthly staff newsletter; the electronic message boards near campus entrances; promotional items; tours for school and community groups; permanent signage; institutional special events; and a variety of additional communications-related activities.
