Moraine Valley Community College’s Corporate, Community and Continuing Education Department is hosting a new Young Adult Career Connections program.

With funding from the Chicago Cook Workforce Partnership, Moraine Valley is encouraging young adults between 16 and 24 years old to explore various career options before embarking in a new industry.

The program provides tuition assistance for a career in fields such as health care, information technology, manufacturing, retail, transportation (distribution and logistics), Commercial Driver’s License and various associate or bachelor’s degrees. Students also will be provided with career planning, tutoring, apprenticeships and internships, assistance with resumes and cover letter writing, transportation assistance, childcare, interview attire if needed and more.

Participants must have graduated high school or have a high school equivalency certificate and not currently be enrolled in school.
