Students trying to fit classes into already busy schedules can enroll in Moraine Valley Community College weekend classes for the fall 2018 semester. Classes include:
- Fridays only—Electrical/Electronic Systems I, Botany, Fundamentals of Chemistry, PHP Programming I, Introduction to Body/Mind Fitness, beginning Aug. 24 for 16 weeks; Drawing I, beginning Aug. 25 for 17 weeks; Human Anatomy and Physiology I, beginning Aug. 24 for 15 weeks; College: Changes, Challenges, Choices, beginning Aug. 24 or Oct. 19 for eight weeks
- Friday/Saturday/Sunday—Principles of Macro-Economics, beginning Sept. 21 for three weeks; First Aid, beginning Oct. 5 for three weeks; Introduction to Psychology, beginning Sept. 7 for three weeks; General Sociology, beginning Sept. 7 or 28 for three weeks; Principles of Micro-Economics, beginning Oct. 19 for three weeks
- Friday/Saturday—Job Skills for Competitive Advantage, beginning Sept. 14 for four weeks; Cargo Security, beginning Nov. 2 for three weeks
- Saturdays only—Introductory Automotive Technology, General Biology I, Human Anatomy and Physiology II, beginning Aug. 25 for 16 weeks; Film Appreciation, beginning Aug. 25 for 17 weeks; Speech Fundamentals, beginning Sept. 8 for five weeks; Introduction to American Music, beginning Oct. 6 for 10 weeks
- Saturday/Sunday—American National Government, beginning Nov. 2 for three weeks
- Sunday— Composition I, beginning Nov. 4 for five weeks

Registration is ongoing. Tuition is $125 per credit hour plus fees and books. New students must complete an admission application, www.morainevalley.edu/apply, and then can register in the Registration Office, located on campus in the Student Services Center (Building S), 9000 W.
