The Moraine Valley Community College Foundation will host its 38th annual golf outing Tuesday, Sept. 10, at Ruffled Feathers Golf Club in Lemont. The outing supports student scholarships.

Tickets are $185 per golfer, which includes 18 holes of golf, breakfast, lunch, dinner and unlimited beverages on the course. Registration opens at 7 a.m., with tee-offs starting at 8:30 a.m. Breakfast is served from 7 to 8:30 a.m. Golfers may get in some practice on the driving range, open for unlimited use in the morning prior to the start of the outing.

“Each year, this event is a great opportunity for the Foundation to raise money to increase the amount of scholarships we can provide for Moraine Valley students,” said Kristy McGreal, executive director of the Foundation. “We are extremely appreciative of our sponsors, the golfers and the community. The generosity and support helps us provide much-needed financial assistance for our students.”

McGreal noted the outing is a perfect networking opportunity for top-level executives, business owners, managers and decision-makers from local businesses near Moraine Valley. In addition, there will be contests for all skill levels, games on the course, a 50/50 Split the Pot raffle, silent auction and more.

This year’s outing is presented by Live Right Senior Care. Additional sponsors are Platinum, UPS; Gold, DKA and PepsiCo; Silver, Legat; and First Supporting Sponsors, Midwest Bank, Heide Wealth Management Group, Rosenthal Murphey, Coblentz and Donahue, and Tori Construction.
