Take classes from one of our extension centers this summer.
Shorten that commute to Moraine Valley Community College by taking a summer class at one of its extension campuses—Southwest Education Center (SWEC) in Tinley Park or Education Center at Blue Island (ECBI).
Some credit classes include Composition I and II, Art Appreciation, Probability and Statistics, Medical Terminology, General Sociology, and Principles of Macroeconomics.
There also are several noncredit classes offered at SWEC including 50 Plus Computer Basics, Tai Chi I/Qi Gong I, Yoga I, and Intro to Mindful Meditation. These noncredit classes are offered at ECBI: 50 Plus Computer Basics and Intro to Mindful Meditation.
A complete listing of all the classes offered at all Moraine Valley campuses can be found in the summer 2016 class schedule or online. Registration is ongoing.
Tuition is $116 per credit hour plus fees and books. Students who have applied to the college can register in the Registration Office, located on campus in the Student Services Center (Building S), 9000 W. College Pkwy. in Palos Hills; by phone at (708) 974-2110 (TTY 711); or online.
