Moraine Valley Community College is where students can find their passion, return to the classroom, become a leader or earn degrees. Registration is underway for the spring 2019 semester, which starts January 14 with on-campus credit classes. Additional classes begin Jan. 22 and beyond.

Moraine Valley offers classes for those interested in transferring to four-year colleges or universities by earning associate degrees in Arts, General Studies, Applied Science or Science. Students also can choose from several career programs offered at the college, including Allied Health and Nursing, Business and Computer Sciences, Industrial Technology and Public Service. The college offers noncredit programs, courses and workshops as well.

Some courses are offered in different formats to accommodate student needs, making it easy for people to fit college classes into their life. Flexible learning options include evening, off-campus, one-day-a-week, online, weekend and short-term classes.

With an annual average cost of $4,356, attending classes at Moraine Valley can save students up to nearly $30,000 per year compared to private colleges or universities.
