High school students and their parents are invited to discover why Moraine Valley Community College is their best choice at an Open House on Saturday, Nov. 3, 9 a.m. to noon, in Building S, on the main campus, 9000 W. College Parkway, in Palos Hills.

Visitors can speak with Moraine Valley representatives from various departments, hear from current students, meet faculty, receive an introduction to the college admissions process, learn how to fund their education, tour campus or attend information sessions on Engineering Pathways and the Early College Program. A session on Career Direction and College Success Tips will be offered for adult learners.

Presentations on admissions, financial aid as well as the student panel will begin at 9:30 a.m. Short campus tours also will be available starting at 11 a.m., when the informational sessions begin. Families should check in at Building S to get started.

“The Fall Open House is an opportunity for the community to receive valuable information on the programs and resources Moraine Valley has to offer. Potential students can speak with various departments on campus to learn about the academic programs and the services available to support student success. The presentations and student panel give potential students a great overview of the college experience, as well as how to get started and pay for college,” said Andy Sarata, director of Admissions and Recruitment.
