Students who want a flexible schedule without the commute can enroll in Moraine Valley Community College’s online and hybrid courses. More than 150 online classes are offered during the 2019 fall semester.

Online classes are taught primarily online but may have occasional campus visits. Hybrid courses are taught through a combination of classroom and a learning management system via the internet. Both allow students to attend all or part of their class via the internet with the ability to access the instructor, classmates and course materials. Access to a web-equipped computer is required.

Some of the online and hybrid classes this fall include Arabic, Biology of Human Life, Financial Accounting, Composition I and II, Criminology, Intro to Computer Science, Cultural Geography, American Literature I, Probability and Statistic, Music Appreciation, Child Psychology and History of Film, among others.

Tuition is $128 per credit hour plus fees and books. New students must complete an admission application, and then can register in the Registration Office, located on campus in the Student Services Center (Building S), 9000 W. College Parkway in Palos Hills; by phone at (708) 974-2110 (TTY 711); or online.
