The Moraine Valley Community College Education Center at Blue Island is offering classes starting Jan. 25 and later. The college offers more than 40 classes at its Blue Island location, 12940 S. Western Ave.
Blue Island classes include American Sign Language I, Art Appreciation, Speech Fundamentals, Environmental Science I, Western Humanities I, Medical Terminology, Music Appreciation, Film Appreciation, General Sociology, Spanish I, and Intermediate Algebra.
There are noncredit classes offered as well, including Pharmacy Mathematics, Pharmacy Technician Review, Illinois Concealed Carry, Intro to Mindful Meditation, Food Service Sanitation, 50 Plus Computer Basics and 50 Plus Computer Basics Cont.

Registration is ongoing. Tuition is $116 per credit hour plus fees and books. Students who have applied to the college can register in the Registration Office, located on campus in the Student Services Center (Building S), 9000 W.
