The Moraine Valley Community College Education Center at Blue Island is offering classes starting Jan. 21 and later. The college will offer more than 55 classes at its Blue Island campus, 12940 S. Western Ave.
Some credit classes at Blue Island include American Sign Language I, Art Appreciation, Speech Fundamentals, Environmental Science I, Western Humanities I, Medical Terminology, Music Appreciation, Film Appreciation, General Sociology, Spanish I, and Beginning Algebra. There are noncredit classes offered as well, including Intro to Mindful Meditation, 50 Plus Computer Basics and 50 Plus Computer Basics Continued, Remodeling: Residential.
A complete list of credit and noncredit classes can be found in the spring 2017 class schedule or online. Registration is ongoing. Tuition is $119 per credit hour plus fees and books.
