Moraine Valley Community College’s Education Center at Blue Island is offering classes starting Jan. 22 and later. The college will offer more than 50 classes at its Blue Island location, 12940 S. Western Ave.
Some credit classes include art appreciation, speech fundamentals, environmental science I, medical terminology, music appreciation, general sociology, Spanish I, basic nurse assistant training and beginning algebra. A noncredit class is remodeling: residential.
A complete list of credit and noncredit classes can be found in the spring 2019 class schedule or online. Registration is ongoing. Tuition is $125 per credit hour plus fees and books. New students must complete an admission application, and then can register in the Registration Office, located on campus in the Student Services Center (Building S), 9000 W.
