Moraine Valley Community College is collaborating with the Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) for a COVID-19 vaccine clinic on Wednesday, May 26, at the college’s Palos Hills campus. The clinic will administer the single-dose Johnson & Johnson’s Janssen vaccine in the Moraine Business and Conference Center, Building M, 9000 W. College Parkway.
Appointments are available from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Walk-ins are welcome, but they may experience wait times.
The IDPH is using Moraine Valley’s clinic to help vaccinate minorities, vulnerable, hard-to-reach and hesitant populations. Vaccines are free, safe and effective. In addition, they allow a return to normal. Fully vaccinated people are no longer required to wear masks in public and most private settings.
Get more information about the COVID-19 vaccines on the IDPH website.
For May 26’s clinic, no photo ID is required. Health insurance is not required either but bring your insurance card if you have one. Those who are unable to register online will be accommodated as walk-ins on the day of the clinic.
