Moraine Valley Community College is hosting its last free Movie in the Moonlight of the season with a double feature viewing of “Lightyear” and “Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle” on Saturday, Sept. 10. The first movie will begin at 7 p.m., and the second will immediately follow. The movies will be shown on a 16-foot inflatable screen on the Gateway, between Buildings F and M, on campus, 9000 W. College Parkway, Palos Hills.
In keeping with the “Lightyear” theme, visitors are encouraged to bring a new toy that will be donated to The Pediatric Oncology Treasure Chest Foundation. Everyone who brings a donation will be entered into a special drawing for a gift card.
Families must bring their own blankets or chairs to sit on and should distance themselves from other groups as much as possible. Outside food is welcome, or you can purchase snacks from a small concession stand. Alcohol and smoking are not allowed on Moraine Valley’s campus. People who need to smoke must do so in their vehicles.
In the event of inclement weather, check the website for updates. Movies are subject to change. For more information about Movie in the Moonlight, visit morainevalley.edu/movies or call the Communications Office at (708) 974-5281.
