Moraine Valley Community College and Vermont-based Norwich University signed a partnership agreement for transferring students.
Norwich is the oldest private military college in the U.S. and is located in Northfield, Vermont. Through this agreement, students who graduate from Moraine Valley with an Associate in Arts, Science, Applied Science, or General Studies are eligible for a 10 percent discount on undergraduate online bachelor’s degree programs or a $20,000 scholarship for residential undergraduate programs.
Moraine Valley developed transfer agreements in several academic areas with the intent to develop more. The university also is accommodating to veterans.
“Norwich University’s long and storied history of educating military personnel and veterans will provide a unique and high-quality transfer option for Moraine Valley students in business, criminal justice and cybersecurity programs,” said Dr. Ryen Nagle, Moraine Valley dean of Science, Business and Computer Technology.
