Moraine Valley Community College is hosting its 19th season of free Shakespeare Under the Stars performances with “Much Ado About Nothing,” from July 20 to 22, at 7 p.m., and July 23 at 5 p.m., on the main campus, 9000 W. College Parkway in Palos Hills. The outdoor performances will be on the Gateway, between Buildings M and F.
This summer’s play by the Bard is a comedy about misunderstandings, love and deception. It focuses on the courtship and scandal between a young woman named Hero and her suitor, Claudio. The witty war of words between Claudio’s friend, Benedick, and Hero’s cousin, Beatrice, also draws attention in this story.
