Moraine Valley Community College is reinstating its free Shakespeare Under the Stars performances with “The Bomb-itty of Errors,” an award-winning ‘ad-rap-tation,’ hip-hop retelling of the playwright’s “The Comedy of Errors” from July 22 to 24, at 7:30 p.m., on the main campus.

This 90-minute show is part play, part rap concert with several pop-culture references. Each of the seven actors play multiple roles and genders. The cast includes six students and one Moraine Valley staff member: Tommy Glodo, of Oak Lawn; Joe Gomez, of Palos Heights; staff member Angelo Greene, of Blue Island; Samm Hilger, of Burbank; Jalin Hooper, of Chicago; Tina Imanlihen, of Tinley Park; and Ashanti Norals, of Chicago. After each show, the cast and director will discuss the play with the audience.

Cage Sebastian Pierre is directing this play. He is a Chicago stage and TV actor and choreographer, who has worked with the Chicago Shakespeare Theater.

Bring chairs, blankets and refreshments, but no alcohol, to this outdoor event on the Gateway, which is west of the Fine and Performing Arts Center, on campus, 9000 W. College Parkway, in Palos Hills.
