The Moraine Valley Community College Fine and Performing Arts Center (FPAC) has partnered with GO NOW!, a legacy band that performs music of The Moody Blues, to present a virtual performance on Saturday, Oct. 17, 2 p.m.

Gordy Marshall, a drummer with The Moody Blues for 25 years, joined other musicians to create a live-streamed show with their band GO NOW! The group will perform a two-hour live concert from the Harlequin Theatre and Cinema in Redhill, England, while an eight-camera crew captures the band from different angles.

Sixty theaters across the United Kingdom and the U.S., including the FPAC, are selling tickets to this event, which will be streamed through TrickBox TV for $15 per household. A unique, login link will be sent to all ticket holders one week before the event. One-third of the profits will go toward the participating theaters.

The Moody Blues were inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2018 and are known for such hits as “Nights in White Satin,” “Go Now,” “Tuesday Afternoon,” “The Story in Your Eyes” and “Question.” The band sold 70 million albums worldwide, including 18 platinum and gold LPs.

The broadcast will remain online for two weeks on demand if viewers miss the live stream or want to watch it again. To purchase tickets or for more information, visit gonowmusic.com. Scroll down the page to buy tickets from the Moraine Valley Community College’s Dorothy Menker Theater link.
