Moraine Valley Community College is hosting a Super Saturday event on Aug. 22, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., where prospective and current students can get on-campus assistance with course selection, placement testing, registration, financial aid, payment and more. The event will be held on the college’s main campus at 9000 W. College Parkway in Palos Hills.

Representatives from several college offices will be available to meet in person with attendees. “With many students making last-minute changes to their fall college plans, this event offers an opportunity for people to get their questions answered before most classes start online on Aug. 24,” said Andy Sarata, director of Admissions and Recruitment. “We want to help students during this challenging time.”

It is highly recommended individuals schedule an appointment before the event. Contact information for each office participating can be found at These services also are available remotely, so students can get assistance at their convenience.
