The annual selection of Moraine Valley Community College student artwork will be showcased at the Juried Student Art Exhibition in the Fine and Performing Arts Center’s (FPAC) Robert F. DeCaprio Art Gallery and atrium, 9000 W. College Parkway in Palos Hills. This exhibit will run March 25 to April 20.
This yearly exhibit displays work chosen from the college’s emerging visual artists. Displayed media will include painting, photography, drawing, sculpture, ceramics, digital art, design and printmaking. Artwork will be judged by a professional artist who will select best of show, honorable mention and Agree-to-Degree (graduating student) award winners to be displayed as part of the permanent art collection in the FPAC hallways. The opening reception will take place in the gallery on Thursday, March 27, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
