The annual selection of Moraine Valley Community College student artwork will be showcased at the Juried Student Art Exhibition in the Fine and Performing Arts Center’s (FPAC) Robert F. DeCaprio Art Gallery and atrium, 9000 W. College Parkway in Palos Hills, from April 8 to May 20.

Each year, work is chosen from the college’s emerging artist talent. The exhibit will feature works that include painting, drawing, sculpture, ceramics, photography, design and printmaking. The accompanying atrium display will feature designs submitted by students to this year’s poster and invitation card competition. Gene Ha, a local artist who recently had his comic artwork displayed in the gallery, is a juror. A reception will take place in the gallery on Tuesday, April 12, 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

The FPAC has taken measures to ensure the safety of its guests by following COVID-19 safety protocols. Masks must be worn indoors. See the latest information at morainevalley.edu/fpac/vaccine-protocol/.

The gallery is open Mon. through Fri., from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. For more information or to purchase tickets to other FPAC shows, visit morainevalley.edu/fpac or call (708) 974-5500.
