The Moraine Valley Community College Jazz Ensemble will celebrate its 20th anniversary with a concert Friday, May 5, at 7:30 p.m., in the Dorothy Menker Theater inside the Fine and Performing Arts Center, 9000 W. College Pkwy., Palos Hills.
The Jazz Ensemble performance, under the direction of Douglass Bratt, associate professor of music, will feature saxophonist Tim AuBuchon, an assistant professor of music and jazz at Truman State University. AuBuchon, a former faculty member at Moraine Valley, has performed and composed with musicians from across the country and debuted a CD with the Tim AuBuchon Quartet.
Tickets are $12; $10 for students and senior citizens, and are available at the Box Office in the FPAC, or online at morainevalley.edu/fpac.
