The Moraine Valley Community College Foundation is holding its Mission IMPOSSIBLE Virtual Fundraising Gala on Friday, April 23, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.

The spy-themed gala will have a family-friendly focus and feature entertainment, a live and silent auction, interactive activities and a raffle. A highlight of the event will be a performance by Katie Kadan, a popular contestant on NBC’s “The Voice” and an alumna of Moraine Valley.

People can purchase either a Secret Agent Viewing Party ticket for $150 or an Agency Headquarters Viewing Party ticket for $75. The Secret Agent Viewing Party includes a signature bottle of wine complemented by desserts prepared by Moraine Valley culinary arts students and wine-pairing tips. Both tickets grant access to the Virtual Fundraising Gala for everyone viewing in the ticket holder’s home. A top-secret activity package, that can be picked up on campus or mailed, and a raffle ticket also are included. Anyone purchasing either viewing party ticket by April 7 will be entered for a chance to win a four-night stay at the Mayan Palace in Mexico. Tickets to the event are on sale now at morainevalley.edu/gala.

Auction items include trip packages to Las Vegas and Mexico; a seven-night stay in a presidential suite for up to eight; family photography session; in-person and online escape rooms; private portrait sitting; tool sets; tickets to family-friendly attractions; jewelry; hand-crafted tables and more.

Guests also can order delicious to-go dinners, prepared by Country House Restaurant, that can be picked up at the college’s main campus on Friday, April 23, from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. Orders should be placed by April 12.

Winners of the raffle will be announced live during the gala. Prizes include two round-trip domestic airline tickets, a sapphire and sterling silver pendant and more. Raffle tickets can be purchased at morainevalley.edu/gala.
