The Moraine Valley Foundation will host its 43rd Annual Golf Outing on Wednesday, Sept. 18, at Cog Hill Golf and Country Club in Lemont.

Tickets are $195 per golfer, which includes 18 holes of golf on Course No. 3, along with food and beverages throughout the day. Registration opens at 7:30 a.m., with a shotgun start time at 9 a.m. Golfers also can purchase an All-in-FORE-Fun Wristband to play games on the course and have a chance to win prizes. Golfers and supporters can enjoy dinner in the late afternoon at the awards ceremony that will wrap up the day. Raffle tickets for the 50/50 Split the Pot can be purchased in advance and during the event for a chance to win money and other prizes.

“We are excited to again invite our community to participate in the Moraine Valley Foundation’s golf outing. This fun event helps us raise money for scholarships to help Moraine Valley students,” said Kristy McGreal, executive director of the Foundation. “In addition to a wonderful day on a popular course, players get to take part in special activities throughout the day. Most importantly, they are making a difference for deserving students who are pursuing their dream of a college education.”

The Foundation also will host a silent auction, which will be open for bidding Sept. 9 to 18. The Foundation is accepting donations from businesses and individual donors who would like to contribute services, experiences or gift baskets to be offered in the auction.

The Foundation is grateful to the event sponsors for their generous support. This year’s outing is presented by Live Right Senior Care. Golf Event Sponsors include Beary Landscaping Inc., Heide Wealth Management Group and Johnson Controls, Beverage Cart Sponsors; Noral Jewelers, Golf Awards Sponsor; and Stogie Life, Cigar Sponsor. About the Moraine Valley Foundation

The Moraine Valley Foundation was founded in 1982 to provide scholarships and emergency assistance to Moraine Valley Community College students, fund innovative programs at the college and offer financial support to its Fine and Performing Arts Center. As a 501(c)3 entity, the Foundation partners with corporate and individual donors and has awarded over $1 million to support the college’s mission. In the last fiscal year, over $300,000 in scholarship funds were awarded to students pursuing a better life through higher education. Please help make our students’ dreams possible through a donation to the Foundation at morainevalley.edu/donate.
