Community members can get tested for COVID-19 at Moraine Valley Community College. The Reverse Transcription Polymerase Chain Reaction (RT-PCR) saliva test is being administered on the main campus in Palos Hills and at the extension sites in Blue Island and Tinley Park. Testing is free.
Testing hours are as follows:
- Palos Hills campus, 9000 W. College Parkway, Fogelson Theater Lobby in Building T: Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.; and Tuesdays and Wednesdays, 9 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
- Education Center at Blue Island, 12940 S. Western Ave.: Tuesdays, 9 to 11 a.m., and Wednesdays, 4 to 6 p.m.
- Southwest Education Center, 17900 S. 94th, Tinley Park: Mondays, 9 a.m. to noon; and Tuesdays, 5 to 7 p.m.
Appointments are not being taken; simply walk in to get a test. Individuals must bring with them a valid picture ID and health insurance card (if they have health insurance). Results will be sent to the email address provided at registration within 12 to 24 hours of taking the test.
Masks are required inside all college buildings regardless of vaccination status. Guests also should maintain social distancing while on campus.
