The Moraine Valley Community College Fine and Performing Arts Center (FPAC) is hosting its next art exhibit, “ha! Comic Creations by Gene Ha” in the Robert F. DeCaprio Art Gallery, as well as an adjunct faculty exhibit, “EnVision,” in the atrium, Feb. 3 to March 7.
Acclaimed American Comics artist and writer, Ha pulls back the curtain and shares a behind-the-scenes look in this exhibition. He writes and draws for the creator-owned ongoing graphic series “Mae.” This four-time Eisner Award winner is the artist for the upcoming “Wonder Woman Historia: The Amazons” Volume 2 coming out this spring by DC Comics. “EnVision” will showcase the work of three Moraine Valley adjunct art instructors – Amy Brown, Gertrude (Trudy) Kooy and Lloyd Wassenaar.
The FPAC has taken measures to ensure the safety of its guests by following COVID-19 safety protocols. Masks must be worn indoors. See the latest information at morainevalley.edu/fpac/vaccine-protocol/.
