Several Academic Music concerts are scheduled in July at the Moraine Valley Community College Fine and Performing Arts Center (FPAC). These performances are free, except for the Chorale and Chamber Singers, and will take place in the Dorothy Menker Theater on the main campus, 9000 W. College Parkway, Palos Hills.

The Moraine Valley Orchestra will play Shakespearian-themed music prior to the performance of the Bard’s play, “The Merry Wives of Windsor,” on Saturday, July 19, 6 p.m., outside at the Gateway between the FPAC and Building M.

The Jazz Ensemble will perform “Sultry Summer Jazz” on Thursday, July 24, 7:30 p.m.

The Moraine Chorale and Chamber Singers present its annual “Patriotic Concert,” on Saturday, July 26, 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $15 for adults, $12 for seniors and $10 for under 18/veterans.
