Get in the holiday spirit with one of several Academic Music concerts scheduled for in-person and livestreamed performances at the Moraine Valley Community College Fine and Performing Arts Center (FPAC), 9000 W. College Parkway, Palos Hills. All of these performances are free.

Swinging into their 24th season, the Moraine Valley Jazz Ensemble presents “88th Avenue Swing Big Band Standards, Holiday Hits and More!” on Friday, Dec. 3, 7:30 p.m.

The Moraine Valley Concert Band will start their 17th season with “Christmas Music and More!” on Sunday, Dec. 5, 3 p.m.

In its 24th season, the Moraine Chorale and Chamber Singers will present “Virtual Merry Christmas Music” on Monday, Dec. 6, at 7:30 p.m. This lively, holiday concert will be livestreamed only.

Comprised of students and community members, the Moraine Valley Jazz Combo will perform on Tuesday, Dec. 7, 7:30 p.m.

The high-energy Moraine Valley Percussion Ensemble will rock out during “Holiday Extravaganza” with special guest Raychel Taylor on Thursday, Dec. 9, 7:30 p.m.

The Music Student Recital will be Monday, Dec. 13, 6:30 p.m.
