The Moraine Valley Community College Robert F. DeCaprio Art Gallery will display the Intercollegiate Faculty Exhibition Nov. 1 to 29, in the Fine and Performing Arts Center (FPAC), 9000 W. College Parkway, Palos Hills.
This free exhibition is an opportunity to see the kind of artwork created at some of the college’s most popular transfer schools: Columbia College Chicago, Governors State University, School of the Art Institute of Chicago and Saint Xavier University. Various media and approaches will be on display.
Columbia College Chicago will feature work from Jonathan Castillo, Kelli Connell, Meg Duguid, Amira Hegazy, Christopher Flynn, Christian Kuras and Duncan MacKenzie, Melissa Potter, Megan Sterling, Guy Villa Jr. and Richard Zeid. Governors State University artists include Javier Chavira, Gretchen Jankowski, Leanne McClurg Cambric, Jeff Stevenson and Paula Swisher. The School of the Art Institute of Chicago artwork is by Claire Ashley, Aimée Beaubien, Anne Harris, Sam Jaffe, Rebecca Keller, Mie Kongo, Paul Nudd, Kate Schutta, Joseph Surjan and Maryam Taghavi. Saint Xavier University artwork comes from Nathan Peck and Cathie Ruggie Saunders.
