Musical duo B2wins is on a mission to make everyone smile with its lively show on Thursday, Feb. 20, 7:30 p.m., at the Moraine Valley Community College Fine and Performing Arts Center (FPAC), 9000 W. College Parkway in Palos Hills.
Pronounced B-twins, this high-energy pair captivates audiences worldwide with their unique renditions of crowd favorites and engaging, uplifting shows for everyone. These identical twins from Brazil combine various genres from hip-hop and jazz to rock, rave and reggae into a feel-good performance offering equal parts rock concert, dance party, jam session and vacation for the soul.
The twins grew up in the slums (favelas) of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, playing classical music on violins their father crafted. They used music as an escape and began to teach others in their neighborhood to do the same. After being featured on NPR in 2008, they were invited to an Iowa university on full-ride music scholarships.
B2wins uses music to bring about positive change with a mission to make the world smile. They are not only musicians, but entertainers, motivational speakers, artists and lifestyle enthusiasts. For more information on B2wins, visit https://b2wins.com/.
