Moraine Valley’s Pharmacy Technician Review program is intended to prepare students for the Pharmacy Technician Certification Exam (PTCE®). Students will learn how to assist pharmacists in preparing medications, provide customer service and support administrative duties. This 13-week program meets on Tuesdays beginning Jan. 29 from 6 to 10 p.m. in Building M, Room M208. The cost is $1,400. Registration is required; the course code for this class is AH8-700-200.
The college’s dialysis technician program teaches students the principles of kidney failure, how to set up and maintain dialysis equipment, the skills to monitor and record patient vital signs, and more. This seven-week program meets on Mondays beginning March 18 from 6 to 9:30 p.m. in Building B, Room B265. The cost is $1,199. Registration is required; the course code for this class is AH8-525-270.
Dental assistants play an important, hands-on role within the dental team. This program covers dental terminology, interpersonal skills, dental records management and more. This eight-week program meets on Tuesdays beginning March 19 from 6 to 9:30 p.m. in Building C, Room C121. The cost is $1,399. Registration is required; the course code for this class is AH8-535-270.
