The Moraine Valley Community College Foundation will host its 39th annual golf outing on Tuesday, Sept. 15, at Cog Hill Golf and Country Club in Lemont. All proceeds will fund student scholarships. Last year, the event sold out, and the Foundation raised $38,000.

Tickets are $195 per golfer, which includes 18 holes of golf, and food and beverages throughout the day. Registration opens at 7 a.m., with start time at 8:30 a.m. After a day of golf, participants can enjoy food, beverages and activities at the socially distanced golfers return celebration.

“We are thankful for the opportunity to host one of our first in-person fundraising events since the start of the pandemic. Each year, this is our largest fundraiser to raise money for scholarships,” said Kristy McGreal, executive director of the Foundation. “We are excited to spend the day with our supporters and raise much-needed funds for our scholarship program.”

New this year is a virtual golf ticket, which includes 18 holes of golf and food vouchers golfers can use at their leisure at Cog Hill. The scores of virtual golf ticket holders and foursomes will be combined with all golfers for the virtual awards ceremony, which will be held at noon on Thursday, Oct. 8. The virtual golf ticket will be valid from Sept. 1 to Oct. 5, 2020, and golfers can use it on Course No. 1 or Course No 3. This year’s silent auction also will be virtual and will be open from Sept 1 to 15, 2020.

This golf outing is presented by Live Right Senior Care. Additional sponsors include Platinum, UPS; Gold, DKA, Legat Architects and PepsiCo; Bronze, Heide Wealth Management Group and KI; and Supporting Sponsor, First Midwest Bank. Beary Landscaping is the exclusive Beverage Cart Sponsor, and Kingston Tile Company is a Game Sponsor.
