The Moraine Valley Community College Foundation will host its “FORE-tieth” annual golf outing Wednesday Sept. 15, at Cog Hill Country Club in Lemont. In honor of the golf outing’s 40th year, the Foundation has a goal to raise more than $40,000 for student scholarships.
Tickets are $195 per golfer, which includes 18 holes of golf on Course No. 3, and food and beverages throughout the day. Registration opens at 7 a.m., with start time at 8:30 a.m. Golfers also can purchase an All-in-Fore-Fun Wristband to play unique games on the course and have a chance to win prizes.
Golfers and supporters can attend a post-golf celebration dinner, which will feature entertainment, an awards ceremony and fun activities.
“We are excited to celebrate 40 years of hosting this golf outing to raise much-needed funds for student scholarships. It’s amazing to see how many students have received a scholarship from the funds raised over the years at our golf outing. We are so thankful for our supporters, who not only join us to enjoy a great day on the course but also help raise funds for Moraine Valley students,” said Kristy McGreal, executive director of the Foundation.
The Foundation also will host a silent auction, which will be open for bidding from Sept. 1 through Sept.15.
