The Moraine Valley Community College Fine and Performing Arts Center (FPAC) is partnering with performer Dennis Watkins to present his “Magic Parlour at Home” virtual mind reading and interactive magic show through the end of November.

Watkins, a third-generation magician, has been performing at The Palmer House in Chicago for several years. He presents an intimate, interactive evening of classic magic, sleight of hand and mind-reading that will now be presented online every Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m. through Nov. 28.

This show is designed for family and group viewings, but guests under 18 years old should be accompanied by an adult. For an immersive experience, participants are encouraged to wear cocktail attire and bring a deck of cards. Special Halloween shows will be Oct. 30 and 31, and participants should wear costumes.

Tickets are $65, and each purchase will admit one household or group of people. Use the discount code FPAC for $5 off. A portion of ticket sales will go toward the FPAC. After tickets are purchased, participants will receive an email containing instructions and a Zoom link to access the show. It is recommended to use a computer with a functioning camera and microphone to participate as well as high-speed internet connection.
