The Children’s Learning Center at Moraine Valley Community College received the Bronze Circle of Quality designation from ExceleRate Illinois, the state’s new quality recognition and improvement system for early learning and development providers.
“As the director, it fills me with a tremendous amount of pride and admiration to have the efforts of my team members so highly acknowledged and validated,” said Denise Lumpkin. “It’s also another reassurance for the children and their parents that they are in a high quality program committed to excellence in early childhood education.”
The Children’s Learning Center provides child care and preschool for children ages 2 to 5. The center, which serves children of Moraine Valley students and staff as well as community members, is licensed by the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services, and is listed with the Cook County Child Care Resource and Referral Agency.
