Learn about up-and-coming career paths when the Blue Island Public Library hosts a “Connecting Communities to the Career Pipelines” presentation by Moraine Valley Community College on Tuesday, June 25, 7 to 8 p.m., at the library, 2433 York St.
The presentation, free and open to the public, will focus on opportunities available through an associate degree or certificate program offered at the Moraine Valley Education Center at Blue Island, new courses offered and other services provided to the community. Presenters also will discuss health care programs offered at Moraine Valley, including nursing, phlebotomy, basic nursing assistant (CAN), patient care technician and coding.
