Turn back the clock with Brass Transit as they pay tribute to the legacy of American rock band Chicago on Friday, Sept. 12, 7:30 p.m., at the Moraine Valley Community College Fine and Performing Arts Center (FPAC), 9000 W. College Parkway in Palos Hills. This is the opening show for the FPAC’s 32nd season.

Eight accomplished and award-winning musicians formed Brass Transit in 2008 to recreate and share music from one of the most successful American rock bands – Chicago. They have toured North America and embody the energy of the classic group, playing some of Chicago’s most timeless tunes, including “Saturday In the Park,” “25 or 6 to 4,” “If You Leave Me Now,” “Feelin’ Stronger Every Day” and “You’re the Inspiration.”

Brass Transit recently produced their first album, taking songs from other top 1970s rock artists  and integrating horns in the Chicago style for a fresh approach to popular hits. They also scored their show with original arrangements for a full symphony orchestra. Learn more about Brass Transit at brasstransit.com.
