Get in the holiday spirit with the Boston Brass and Brass All-Stars Big Band during their “Christmas Bells are Swingin’!” concert on Thursday, Dec. 19, 7:30 p.m., at the Moraine Valley Community College Fine and Performing Arts Center (FPAC), 9000 W. College Parkway in Palos Hills.

Swing into the holidays with the 15-piece Boston Brass and the All-Star Big Band, composed of talented musicians from around the world. The all-brass ensemble includes trumpets, French horns, trombones and tubas with a jazz rhythm section. They will perform energetic, big band arrangements of classics including “The Stan Kenton Christmas Carols,” “Greensleeves,” “Silent Night” and “Jingle Bells.”

Since 1986, the Boston Brass has delighted audiences with their unique and energetic style featuring classical arrangements, jazz standards and top-notch brass repertoire while educating listeners.
