A captivating journey awaits at “Artrageous,” a family-friendly, interactive performance on Saturday, Sept. 22, at 7:30 p.m., at Moraine Valley Community College, 9000 W. College Parkway, Palos Hills.
Tickets for the performance, are $30 for general admission, $25 for seniors and $10 for children. The show will be held inside the Dorothy Menker Theater in the Fine and Performing Arts Center (FPAC).
Theater-goers will witness Artrageous artists, inspired by musicians and dancers, create live paintings on stage, racing to complete the paintings before the last musical note plays. Audience members are invited to join the troupe on stage to express their creative dance moves or can use souvenirs the troupe distributes to participate from their seats.
The Artrageous troupe of artists, musicians, singers, and dancers pay tribute to a variety of art forms, pop icons and musical genres culminating in a fabulous painting that will be donated to the Fine and Performing Arts Center and will be available for purchase after the show.
“The reviews for this show have been amazing, and we’re looking forward to an outstanding performance at the college. Between the painting, the music, the dance—the audience is going to really enjoy watching what unfolds, as well as being part of the show,” said Tommy Hensel, managing director of the FPAC.
