Further your education or learn for fun at Moraine Valley Community College. Registration is underway for the fall 2017 semester, which starts Aug. 21 with on-campus credit classes. Credit classes at the Education Center at Blue Island and Tinley Park Education Center and on-campus late-starting classes begin Aug. 28 while off-campus late-starting classes start Sept. 5.

Moraine Valley offers classes for students who want to transfer to four-year colleges or universities by earning associate degrees in Applied Science, Arts, Fine Arts, Science, or General Studies. Students also can choose from several certificate career programs offered at the college, including Allied Health and Nursing, Business and Computer Sciences, Industrial Technology, Automotive Technology, and Public Service. Additionally, the college offers a number of noncredit courses and workshops.

Courses are offered in different formats to accommodate students’ needs. These flexible learning options include evening, online, short-term, and weekend classes.

With an annual average cost of $4,176, attending Moraine Valley can save students up to $48,000 per year compared to private colleges or universities.

Tuition is $122 per credit hour plus fees and books.
