Using their award-winning vocals as their only instruments, Six Appeal will perform on Thursday, March 13, 7:30 p.m., at the Moraine Valley Community College Fine and Performing Arts Center (FPAC) in the Dorothy Menker Theater, 9000 W. College Parkway in Palos Hills.
This sextet of singers creates an energetic show that spans decades of music from classic oldies and current chart-toppers to catchy original tunes using only their voices. With more than 70 years of combined experience, each member was formally trained in singing, music education and composition.
In 2012, Six Appeal secured the national championship at the Harmony Sweepstakes A Cappella Festival in California. They also won Best Original Song and the coveted Audience Favorite Award. In 2018 and 2019, they were named world champions at the acclaimed Moscow Spring A Cappella Festival, considered the largest a cappella festival in the world.
Six Appeal has collaborated with artists such as Andy Grammer, Michael McDonald, Kenny Loggins and Thundercat. Several years in a row, the group has been featured singing on the red carpet at the Vanity Fair Oscars Party. For more information on Six Appeal, visit sixappealvocalband.com/.
