Through funding from Metallica’s foundation, All Within My Hands (AWMH), Moraine Valley is empowering the next generation of nurses and healthcare workers. Healthcare careers have exceptional stability, remain in high-demand, are AI-resilient and serve the community.

All Within My Hands Scholarship
AWMH supports workforce education through MSI with a goal to upskill and train students interested in career and technical education through the community college system. Through a partnership with American Association of Community Colleges (AACC), AWMH administers grants to serve dozens of schools and thousands of students.
About the Metallica Scholars Initiative (MSI)
The MSI is a national effort to spotlight career and technical education (CTE) programs in community colleges as a pathway to well-paying jobs through student-focused funding. The American Association of Community Colleges (AACC) administers all aspects of MSI in collaboration with All Within My Hands (AWMH), leveraging Metallica’s visibility to elevate the respect for career and technical education.
